Meet Your Host: Christina McMaster

Christina McMaster is a highly innovative classical pianist, composer, and sound healer who has performed at major festivals and venues worldwide, with features on BBC Radio and Classic FM. Appointed as an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music, Christina has collaborated with legendary composers and artists, as well as leading scientists at King's College London to study the mental health and well-being benefits of deep listening.
She was inspired to create Lie Down and Listen by her grandmother, who told her stories of her grandfather going to the opera to be healed whenever he was unwell or feeling low.
Believing deeply that the true purpose of music is to uplift and restore us, Christina designed this multi sensory experience to break down traditional concert barriers providing a sanctuary for guests to quiet the mind, release stress, and connect with their inner creativity. Under her guidance, you will surrender into the spiritual realm of sound, leaving the concert experience feeling deeply rested, connected, and entirely revitalised.
